Henk Poort, born 1956

One of his first opera roles was Nabucco at the 'Stichting (foundation) Rotterdamse Opera' in 1986. Later he also sang a.o. Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), count Luna (Il trovatore), Macbeth (very good performance !) and Rigoletto at 'Opera Forum' /'Nationale Reisopera' and at opera houses in Germany and Switzerland. He became especially known for his musical roles in 'Les misérables' and 'The fantom of the opera'.
